As a student of history, I've discovered this long defunct medium.
Although these days, we subscribe to a fire starter paper (for the
wood stove) service, which prints some news on the paper.

Newspaper ink is often soy based.
And fake news would be a much smaller problem.

The lead has been replaced with soy based ink.
