Fun fact: some bears try to hide but when they start moving, the noise of them getting free will alert those who pay attention.

Fun Fact: Humans walking in the woods paying attention to their SmartPhones or listening to anything with earbuds in their ears....basically OBLIVIOUS to their surroundings....are REAL easy to sneak up on

Of course excessive attention to phones and music makes one a Darwin award candidate in many different situations. I win by not doing that.

California loses for having a bear on its flag.
Just the opposite. The bear is our friend and attacks those who would steal all our picnic baskets and give them away. The taxes the bear levies are quite modest all things considered.

Maybe so, but the bear still ended up eating the California Raisins.
