Many moons ago I decided that my goal was 50000 posts. Of course, I'm not a @Revoltingest fortunately so don't aspire to his level of wasting time, but 50000 seemed a nice, attainable goal. Thus I'm marking steps along the way appropriately.
It's my way of winning at wasting time.

My goal is 10k. It's very rare I ever make 10k on a forum.
