I have a number of Craftsman tools from the 70's when Sears was a real place to shop and Craftsman meant a quality Sears product.

Actually, it was a play on the old "Clapper" theme song. I was just joking.

Snap-On Tools is a completely different thing, and I'm not even sure if they had a jingle.

However, I recall seeing in a few repair shops a sign that said: "I make my living by using Snap-On Tools. Please don't ask to borrow them."

I don't think you could buy them in stores either.

My Craftsman are from 1979 to early 80s and the Snap-on range from early 80s to early 90s,
