No, thanks. I enjoy my capitalist lawlessness very much.

Anyways, my hired minions have helped me get a somewhat considerably higher post count today. I think I'll let them get off their computers and enjoy Christmas.

It certainly is.
But have you not observed that as society changes,
SCOTUS does also? But if you think the justices
look solely at the Constitution as the basis for their
rulings, then your fantasy is a bleak one. Bad dog!
The same SCOTUS that chiseled away at abortion rights, eroding the separation of church and state, and also having already sided with cops already regarding one of the most deadly weapons the police have against us. That doesn't bode well for states trying to ban qualified immunity because it means those bans can be appealed and likely overturned by higher courts.
This Supreme Court is the reason--the single, sole reason--Hillary needed to win '16.

It's easy to be pessimistic.
But remember that progress is uneven.
It can be 3 steps forward, & 2 back.
This 200,000th post should lift your spirits....

Jingle bells, @Wu Wei smells, @sun rise ran away,

Jingle bells, @Wu Wei smells, @sun rise still away,

Bells are ringing, children singing, all is merry and bright

I'll say Hallelujah that 2021 is ending. Of course the start of 2022 will be Covid surge time but maybe later in the year, things will finally settle down.
