Third night of thunder storms and this one is a real beauty. The night sky is constantly lit electric pink from different directions.

A post on another thread reminded me of an incident this morning.
One of the cats was sauntering down the lane to the road, there was a screech from around the corner. The cat stopped, listened for a few moments, decided all was ok to carry on and continued her promenade. She was just a couple of feet from the corner when a huge white cockatoo with a magnificent yellow crown hopped round the corner right in front of the cat, who froze, almost slid under herself and set off at a rapid rate of knots up the lane.
All day she's never looked at a bird the same way she usually does.
