A miracle happened overnight, the credit card that I "forgot" to give back to her has appeared in her purse where I said I saw her put it when I gave it back to her the day before she left. just admit to her that you realized you still had it, booked a flight to the US where you slipped in while she was asleep and put it back in her purse, and then took the next flight home.

Might even be worth making it charter flights to and from...
