I got it from Aldi, it was part of their Octoberfest special buys. I found it in the same aisle as Shetland ponies, asbestos suits and WW1 tanks.

Would take a better man than me to figure out Aldi but there's a picture of beer in the back ground and also sauerkraut next to the rosti for that added authenticity. I went in there for tomato plants and came out with rosti and lamb shanks.

Yeah, that sounds like Aldi. I thought the nearest Aldi was 80km away but I noticed just a couple of days ago that an new Aldi has opened up in Gourdon (about 25k). Next time i go to Gourdon to food shop i will give it a try.
