I blame climate change or it could be @Revoltingest
Methinks that in a couple of months you are going to be telling us how bloody hot it is

How much weight can the dog carry? Take her along.
I was meaning to ask you. Have you run across the red-bellied black snake on your excursions? No particular reason other than my old fascination with reptiles and curiosity about some of your countries more interesting ones.
OK, so they are as common as the literature indicates. Nice pictures too.Another one that was behind the back fence...
I learned something new. I did not know what kookaburras ate. In fact, something that never occurred to me to wonder about. I certainly didn't know that snakes were on the menu.I've run across them in the backyard as well as on excursions. Somewhere I have a photo of a kookaburra killing one at the place we lived before this. Found it!
I thought this was funny, but it is also something I have to deal with being both a Christian and a scientist. According to the fundamentalists, I guess you can't be both. Apparently, accepting logic, reason and evidence is a sin by some standards.

If you can't believe your own eyes, whose should you trust?

I have heard about them before, but only recently started looking more into them. I didn't know they were elapids until I ran across a photo of one with the head flattened into a cobra-like hood.
I understand that they are not very aggressive and will shy from humans.

.....Have that effect on the ladies, too....?Every snake I've encountered has been as keen to get away from me as I was to get away from it.
I agree. I'll debate claims, but I don't challenge others belief just for my own peace of mind or whatever it is that stirs others.According to some atheists you can't be both. I have no idea why people care so much about the beliefs of others. Do what makes you happy.
I'm not always that smart, but most of those I encounter can't kill you in minutes or seconds if you present yourself as a threat to them.Every snake I've encountered has been as keen to get away from me as I was to get away from it.
I'm not sure that is an insult. Not sure anymore......Have that effect on the ladies, too....?
What you got vertical that you think needs boring?I just weighed my new (ca 1867) vertical boring mill.
It weighs only 9400#.
I thought about 10k#.
Others thought 12k# to 13k#.
It's about 8' tall.
I made custom machine skates to handle rolling
it off a tilted trailer bed into Mr Green Barn.
Kaplah!
Is it any of these? Some of the live ones look interesting. We have a frost warning for tonite.
From what I've read most folks survive these snake bites....RBBSI'm not always that smart, but most of those I encounter can't kill you in minutes or seconds if you present yourself as a threat to them.
