I may have won. I think I've FINALLY gotten to the right department which can update my warranty information on the computer I bought for my wife last month. Another department updated the front and backend information but a third system which support people use to check warranty was not updated. This team will repeat what the other team did to validate the change but hopefully this time it will take properly.

Anyone who complains about government bureaucracy is welcome to buy an HP computer from Amazon and try to get HP to fix a warranty. I'll stack my problems and multiple phone calls, web pages that say I can't dispute my model warranty online, unhelpful employees on an HP customer site, multiple unpublished 800 "help" phone numbers, secret help email addresses, HP departments that deal with these issues but not with my particular model of computer etc against a government bureaucratic runaround. I think I'd "win" a worse experience "award"

OH no no no, wish I knew that sooner....never buy from a vendor through Amazon, help and returns are a nightmare. Buy directly from the vendor, (HP) otherwise the nightmare of getting support is far more expensive than it would have been buying directly from HP

Saw something interesting in Troy NY today.... a pizza delivery car..... with Massachusetts plates with an advertisement on the roof for a pizza shop in New Hampshire

Well, I suppose they might live in Massachusetts and work in New Hampshire. I can see that, but New Hampshire is quite some distance from Troy NY to be delivering a pizza.

8c for this mornings dog walk. Almost time to dig the long pants out.
I never understood why some peeps insist on tee shirt, shorts and sandals when there is frost on the ground.

It could be wishful thinking but it looks like pure masochism

Time for sleep i think, it's close to midnight, 20c and started sleeping without thermal pj's since returning from the UK.

The feel of fresh linen sheets on naked skin is surely a winner.

And you guys behave yourself, especially you... Yes you know who o mean

When we moved from far Upstate New York in January (-30, several feet of snow) to Northern CA, we went around like that because for us the temperature was like early spring being 70 degrees warmer.
