Strange people pushing surprise mushrooms at you..... mushroom pushers running rampant... and your ok with this!!!!! Wow.....that whole french laissez faire thing appears to be contagious

It's even worse here. I had a knock on Mr Van's
door recently. Some guy claimed to run the
machine shop at the Tuckahoe Steam & Gas
Association, & was curious about our plans
to re-create a shop founded in 1870.

I made spinach and ricotta tortellini in bolognese sauce. Too rich for me and triggered my first IBS episode for months, fortunately it didn't last long. Karen liked it.

Methinks you are confusing them with Aussie mushies. Girolles are among the best second only to ceps

Girlie food. Sounds pretty nice. I'd make the sauce with all red wine and no water, very rich, you probably couldn't eat it, or regret it if you did.
