I got up way too early for my time zone, but a good morning to all just the same.

Good morning! I was up at 3:30 am my time, as per usual. I'll finish my coffee and go back to bed for another hour or two. I've been a first sleep/second sleep person for over ten years now, not by choice but I've learned to embrace it.

Interesting articles. It does sound like biphasic sleep is more natural, whereas the second article mentions that it went away largely due to the industrial revolution (which changed so many things about how humans live). Instead of living by sun time, we live by clock time and work a regular schedule.

Frankly, I could use copious amounts of mead at the moment

Sparkling-Mead-Banner.jpg

When i was about 18 i had a glass of Lindisfarne mead, delicious.

How hard can it be to make, i thought. Honey, water, yeast, time. I made a gallon, bloody awful. I guess it was made in the wrong sort of container ;-) so it got thrown away.
