Winning with a sunny day that's hazy from
all that smoke imported from Quebec.
Winning by having clear and sunny skies. Winning doubly by blowing a raspberry at some who attacked California for smokey fires and who now have the karmic balance visited upon them.

I thought to thank the Iowans for giving us a break from the crap summer air. My air quality app has been silent this year.
But for once we actually get to do something we never thought we'd ever actually get to do.

One thing I do like sugar, is if I have bacon or sausage then English breakfast tea with some maple syrup is up there in pairings with a burger and beer.

I used to have sugar or caramel in coffee but found it tastes better without. I use it in baking only now. The rest of the family are of similar tastes although Adi will put a spoonful on his cereal

You guys breathe your own smoke.
And you send it also to other states.
We're enduring smoke from Quebec.
It's prolly cuz they speak archaic French.

Black coffee, black tea, no sugar added is my rule. The merchants of imitation food put sugar in everything.

Winning because I bought about 2.5 pounds of fresh Washington Bing cherries for only $2.00 a pound. Well worth the wait. In May we start seeing cherries from Mexico. They are over priced and do not look very good. In early June cherries from California appear. Still over priced and not up to snuff. Local cherries taste so much better, no matter where you live, and tend to be the least expensive. In about two more weeks Rainier cherries will be in season here. Those from out of state just do not measure up. Is it due to the shipping? Do they have to pick them before they are fully ripe? Who knows. I can wait.
