How's the missus's ticker? Still ticking?

Well it's all very confusing, the doctor reckons it takes a week to get the results back from the heart monitor yet when I had the same test a few years back they gave me the results in about 10 minutes of taking it off me. So I don't know. Her BP is good so the doc says that's a good sign.

Maybe progress in modern equipment makes is so it takes longer. Or perhaps the doc isn't qualified to interpret the results and so sends them off to a specialist.

It's a bit of a bugger when you want the result now.

Have to take the Mrs to the doctors again today, they found an irregularity on her ECG yesterday and she has to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours. Hardly seems fair, I'm the overweight ex smoker. We do 30 minutes of tai chi together in the morning then she does another hour of real exercise. It's hard to get my brain around.

Currently 14 C here with a projected high of 24 C. Frankly I would take the 19 C over 34 C any day of the week. And the Royal Liver Building? What is it with the Brits and their love of organ meats?

Liverpool, could have been kidneypool bit it just doesn't have the same ring to it. And strangely its pronounced lyver building although Liverpool is pronounced how it's spelled. I never could grasp the vagaries of the Scouse accent
