I checked my BP before going to the doctor and it was 121/79, 10 minutes later at the doctor and it was 134/93, get back home and it was 117/78. And I took my machine to make sure it was accurate.

When I walked into the doc's office it was 144. Before I left, it was 127. Two reasons, you walk in, they talk to you including while the machine is running and you're feet are not on the floor. Then there's the stress. BP should be taken after 5 minutes of relaxing, feet on the floor and with no talking.

It's s nice and peaceful. An hour to relax before the mayhem of childrens bedtime
Ugh... that mayhem.

Yudhi goes to bed real easily. LeeAnder is 17, and puts himself to bed when he's ready. But Ares explodes with the brilliance of 1,000 suns, expressing in extreme hyperactivity in best case scenario, or slightly frantic destruction in worst case scenario, trying to break stuff or run down the block. My husband has that as his 'beer and video' time, and turns into somewhat of a child himself, and the dogs all go hyper because its feeding time.

I dread bedtime.

Mine is not as bad as yours, our problem is convincing them to get some sleep. But at least i have a sober (sometimes ) and functional (occasionally) husband to help out
