OK..the ultra cool batch of totally ripe, sun warmed, wild blackberries is most definitely hippie food...but the Genmaicha and dark chocolate...NOPE...not hippie foodThis hippie had a very groovy, ultra cool batch of totally ripe, sun warmed, wild blackberries a while ago and am now drinking Genmaicha green tea and eating very dark chocolate.
@John53
How's the kichen standing up to all the abuse?
Well other than the new bit of bulkhead he put in which turned into a nightmare because they don't make the style of cornice we have in the house anymore so he had to mould some by hand. He's coming today to finish that off.

Then there's the leaky dishwasher, the new one is coming today but we're not sure how much damage is underneath so he's waiting before he puts the new piece of melamine on the back (maybe it's the front, I don't know?) of the kitchen counter.

And the splash back is done by another company and they can't come out until the rest of the work is finished, then they need to make a template then pour the whatever stuff it is and let it set then fit it which takes about 2 weeks.

So in summary, yeah lots of fun.....
That'll teach ya.
You really think this was my idea? I would have been happy to leave things as they were and found out in 12 months the dishwasher was leaking when the kitchen counter collapsed from wood rot. Hmmm, maybe it hasn't been so bad but I will forever fear the sound of a builder saying to me "we've got a bit of a problem".
