Sad story, Mr. Miyagi had a headache.View attachment 85334
and Ralph Mouth brought his mom with aspirin.

I also remember him playing the role of Admiral Ryūnosuke Kusaka in the movie Midway, which also had Henry Fonda and Charlton Heston - although as I recall, the movie got pretty bad reviews. He displays a bit of bumbling on the part of the Japanese, switching their planes from torpedoes to bombs, then back to torpedoes again. It was on that decision that the battle turned in our favor.

Yes, Pat Morita lost the sea war then became a stand up comic who was urged to wipe on, wipe off his way to movie history.

I saw another view of The Karate Kid and Mr. Miyagi, in which they argue that it was Ralph Macchio's character who was the bully:

My oldest got bullied pretty badly. He does better now, though.

There was one incident in which a bully came over and dumped stuff all over his lunch. Due to his OCD, he wouldn't eat lunch at school, so he didn't care. The guy laughed, so he did, too. Then my son dumped stuff on his lunch. That continued back and forth, until my son dumped a milk in the guy's lap. The guy hit him.

Backfired... my son was tiny back then(middle school), and everyone was aware he had special needs. The guy was large, and in sports. The fact the kid hit him upset the other students. My son was later approached by the football team who assured him they'd take care of it.
