No, sparrows, siskins, blue and coal tits, chaffinch, dunnock,a visiting robin, and 5 cats no problems other than daily swilling the poo away
But the wasps and hornets are the ones that bugger the grapes

Back in the UK when we had blackbirds strip the fruit trees we resorted to netting over the trees.
It's not pretty but you do at lest get some cherries..
