Methinks thou doth protest too much.
I only went to a protest once.

Sam made quite a spectacle(his costume), and someone told him to go buy new pants, and threw money at him.

He took the money and said thanks, walking away, laughing that they didn't realize they stupidity of that action...

I'd rather be smart than rich...

But I am kind of a dummy...
I don't think the latter is at all correct.

However, I disagree. If you are smart and poor you would know it and lament it. If you are smart and rich or dumb and rich, you just don't care either way.

I don't know. We lean towards 'poor'. Not completely destitute, but bills get juggled at times, not everything that needs fixed, is. I don't lament it. But it might because I'm too dumb to do so. :D

I'm being facetious. A bit.

But having enough resources to cover the ongoing with some room for the unexpected or something nice, but extra, would be grand.

I remain unconvinced of your personal assessment of intellect. Don't sell yourself short.
