I recommend going to bed with a bottle of whiskey and a hot man.
I had a can of beer and Sam.

The beer was okay. Sam's a looker. But neither did much good...

Well, I don't think the beer hurt much, but Sam kept waking me up digging through the dresser drawers to find candy he'd hidden away. He doesn't sleep soundly, and he gets up and does this some nights... And then there's the rustling of the wrappers, and the kicking stuff over as he walks in the dark. Then the 100 alarms he forgets that he had set, most too early for him to actually need to use... (he sleeps through them, I can't, and sometimes they wake the kids)

Why do you sometimes remind me of Charlie Brown?

Or maybe how you avoid becoming 100% Lucy?

Apparently, I say "good Lord" when I'm getting mad. I didn't know that, Ares told me. But, its probably in the same spirit as Charlie Brown's "good grief", so I see it.

I reserve the right to be crabby some days, so I can remain neutral for the rest of them.

I don't think today will be a crabby day, that was yesterday. Today, I'm neutral with a bad cold.

Shame, but you tried.

A cold usually lasts about seven days, however, if you manage to get antibiotics you'll be rid of it in only a week

Hope you are feeling better soon

Our tax office contacted me (and millions of others) today to say the online declaration form(s) is open.
Form filling is easy and for most of our return no issue. But, for example, my wife said she earned interest on her business accounts last year and I have to remember whether or not I've put that in the "interest" form or her "schedule C" business form and to ask her if she has 1099's buried in the piles on her desk.

I think I've got a ways yet. It set in on Monday afternoon.
Feeling ill makes me crabby at least a little bit depending on symptoms and duration.
I was extremely crabby all day yesterday because I wanted a day off. I wanted a sick day.

I feel just as bad today, but I think I've come to terms that I won't get one, so my inner crab went away. Back to neutral.
I'm also crabby today because I need to finish our income tax.
That's something to be crabby about.
