Pleurisy and GERD
I won't repost what the internet told me about pleurisy. GERD I know from having a bit of it but not serious.

The winning joys of having a physical body are numerous. But I prefer having one to not having one so, in the words of a song I've heard, I "ain't got time to die"

My dad repeated for years his favorite sayings; "No matter where you've been, it's always good to get home".The second saying always made me smile. My father was the first to go up to bed every night since he left for work quite early every day. Dad would say, " Well, it's bedtime.....ya can't get into trouble in bed".

I had a much worse case of pleurisy about 30 years ago. I could hardly breath and I was afraid I was going to die.... I was also afraid I was going to live... that was painful. This time it just kept me up all night and made deep breathes hard

Is pleurisy caused by an infection?.....or injury?

Pleurisy is a condition whereby inflammation of the pleura causes the membranes to rub and grate against each other. Common causes of pleurisy include bacterial and viral infections which can lead to pneumonia. Other causes of pleurisy include a pulmonary embolus, cancer and trauma to the chest wall.

What i have comes from a bacterial or viral infections. Most likely viral

Good morning, wee bit chilly this morning, down to 12c. Winter is coming

And we're looking forward to one of the hottest summers on record:
