Interesting, I have been to Herkimer county, never saw Russia, never even knew it was there.... I did use to live near Florida..... Florida NY that is.

I never heard much of them either, just one or two songs
It is puzzling why they didn't get wider play given their formative status and solid material.

If I remember correctly they came in with a lot of other hair bands so there was a lot of competition
There was a rather extensive crop of very similar bands suddenly during that period. The ones established early seemed to have fared better, with a few exceptions.
This morning I get a text about meeting the texter in the gym today. I replied wrong number. I got a response back about being so sorry. I replied with a no problem. Then it became clear with the reply that I was such a WONDERFUL person, that her name is Emily and asking mine. That triggered my In Living Color classic (which I did not send - just deleted the text string)

It's not always bogus but the effusive praise about how KIND and WONDERFUL I am triggered my suspicions
