As I sit in my infinite grumpiness, I reminisce back to the good old days, when I used to sleep until 2pm...

For whatever reason, the later I get up, the less prone to the morning depression spurt I am.

I wonder how late I could get away with sleeping in now. I'd have to adjust slowly(due to Ares's med routine)... but could I do it? Could I at least sleep until noon, or 1?

Hmmm...

Sleeping until noon would surely do away with the morning grumpiness and depression.

I see long term training on the horizon.

I sleep until about 5:30 to 6:00 every day, it's what I've always done since being a child.

Half of the year i get to be part of the dawn while enjoying a coffee. Thats winning.

The other half of the year when dawn is too fast for me i still enjoy contemplating the forest while enjoying a coffee, all year round winning

I'm glad I don't have a watch. That sounds quarrelsome.

I have a few watches (mostly mechanical), i used to have a watch fetish. The only quarrel was which to wear.

Since being dragged kicking and screaming into the smartphone era they now reside in a draw waiting for an itinerant rare watch dealer to make me an offer i can't refuse.

I don't have any watches... I have obnoxiously skinny wrists, and wrist jewelry is usually too big.

I love earrings. Long dangly ones.

Though after Ares ripped one of my best necklaces off, I question the wisdom in wearing jewelry.

And after having to wrestle with him on the ground outside, I question the wisdom of wearing anything other than junk clothes.

His psychiatrist did get back with me, though... She's doubling his sedative dose in the med slot in the time these fits are coming on at(seems the same time every evening).

It was on fire when I laid down on it.

JustGeorge, I am so sorry you're having Ares troubles.

I have many watches too but rarely wear them. However, I do wear a smartwatch nearly all the time.

Winning!

Your wisdom wins out again, particularly if you have pierced ears.

A friend of mine met a guy who, first night, though it was his right to get a bj, my friend though otherwise.
He had a prince Albert piercing. My friend caught the jewelry in her teeth and yanked. That stopped him. She kept it as a souvenir.

Yanking earrings off would be no laughing matter either

Hopefully the new med regime is an improvement.

Did she have it mounted above the mantle, to serve as a warning to others(and personal victory for herself)?

Mornings are usually okay for me, but I find I'm in the worst moods in late afternoon, especially in the summer when it's hot, there's heavy rush hour traffic. It takes me about a half hour or so to unwind (with the A/C on) when I get home. Then, I log on to RF and start screaming again (but in a good way).

The watch measures quality but does not prize quantity. It also picks up possibly medically important data like lower than normal heart rate and Afib that I might miss. So it's something to consider but not toss away discrimination for obsession on what it tells me.
