Well, the rain has set in and I'm getting tired. I'll talk to you all later. Good night win!

As I was in one of the offices working on something, I thought I heard two other people typing rapidly and loudly on their keyboards at the same time. Turns out it was raining. No thunder though, unfortunately. Nonetheless, I appreciate it.

@Secret Chief , NO!........
What you see on RF is not actually the Secret Chief. I'm a red herring.
Hmmm, I have a question about taxes in England. Throughout most of my working years, I paid about 12% of my yearly wages in taxes. Can you tell me your estimate of the % of wages a blue-collar worker might pay in England? There is no need for extreme accuracy.

Any tax rebate at the end of the financial year (April) depends on if you are a believer or not. Unbelievers are not eligible because they are going to be thrown into the Lake of Fire.

@Secret Chief , I asked this question because of this paragraph.

In his budget speech Jeremy Hunt made the following statement. “The average earner in the UK now has the lowest effective personal tax rate since 1975 — and one that is lower than in America, France, Germany or any G7 country.”

Ah. Well Hunt is a tory (bye bye) so I would take anything he said with an Egyptian pyramid of salt.

eg

- Rachel Reeves accuses Jeremy Hunt of lying about 'true state' of UK's finances

@Secret Chief, Only so as not to mislead you about American tax percentages; Presently, a machinist ( CNC operator ) owes approx. 21% Fed. tax and approx. 5% state tax in NJ (my location).....This is higher than my working years.
