If they are like the desert blooms of the US, I can imagine the interest. I'd like to see them too.WA is the only state I've never been to. I'd like to go see the wildflowers.
We had thunder like the earth splitting open and lighting with no rain and then 15 or 20 minutes later, the same with rain coming down in torrents. As I was in one of the offices working on something, I thought I heard two other people typing rapidly and loudly on their keyboards at the same time. Turns out it was raining. No thunder though, unfortunately. Nonetheless, I appreciate it.
Good morning to you too!Goods morning, lovelies!
And a good morning to you as well!Bonne journée à toi
Not surprising... you are a bunny after all Hasenpfeffer.... bunnies tend to be skittish..... as for me... I am fascinated by thunderstorms, I will sit and watch them.... I even sleep better during a big stormWe had thunder like the earth splitting open and lighting with no rain and then 15 or 20 minutes later, the same with rain coming down in torrents.
Your description fits pretty well with some that I've had when you get a nice, quiet and steady rain. The most pleasant kind for relaxing to in my view.
I'm with you. I find them fascinating and watching them worth giving my time to.Not surprising... you are a bunny after all Hasenpfeffer.... bunnies tend to be skittish..... as for me... I am fascinated by thunderstorms, I will sit and watch them.... I even sleep better during a big storm
When I was five we took a family road trip from Missouri to Louisiana via Mississippi. I don't recall where in Mississippi, but were driving in the sunlight and right in front of us was a wall of rain. We drove into a pretty intense local shower that had fairly discrete edges that I've never seen the like of since. I've looked. I've hoped. But that was to be my only experience of what was so impressive to a little boy that he remembers it even now...a few years later.I did love the big storms I experienced in Texas. But the trade off is that it's still hot through October and sometimes even November!
And you are on this forum with a strange guy that likes to look for insects too.Well, there are strange men from a pest company climbing all up in my attic and my cats are both closed up in a room. Good times.
I would often see walls of water like the one you are describing when I lived in Texas, but I have also seen a wall of water like that here in SW Ohio. When I was five we took a family road trip from Missouri to Louisiana via Mississippi. I keep looking. Trying to recapture that wonder.I would often see walls of water like the one you are describing when I lived in Texas, but I have also seen a wall of water like that here in SW Ohio.
