My wife's cataract surgery went wonderfully well. Today when they took off the eye patch she could see more clearly even with her old glasses which don't match the lens they put in. She wants me to go food shopping for her which I'll do because she can't bend over to pick up shopping bags etc but that's totally not an issue for me. So the eye doc and my wife both win.

Truly spectacular @John53! Australia doesn't mess around or skimp. It seems to go big on everything. An audacity of nature at its best on the visual scale.

I would love to see that myself.

I'm not much of a botanist, but I think I recognized a couple of groups shown on that video.

I had both of mine done a year or two ago. Fantastic outcome. And just for good measure I've had stents put in (to reduce the pressures) and some laser to get rid of some clouding.

I remember listening to a botanist who said the average botanist might discover 2 new species in their lifetime. In WA you can discover 2 new species a day without really trying.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Well, I wish I could say that my cataract surgery went super well, and it did for several years but now I think it's wearing off a bit. And I was told that these lenses they put in would last forever. Nope.
