Good morning

I wish, I'd be able to have a peaceful time at home. As it is, it's evening and the party weekend has started.

There are bumper cars and a 4 way trampoline set up in the square, a shooting gallery, other fairground stalls and couple of beer tents lining the road. And a folk/classical rock concert happening in the car park. Good fun.

Well, I wish I could say that my cataract surgery went super well, and it did for several years but now I think it's wearing off a bit. And I was told that these lenses they put in would last forever. Nope.

Maybe it's something else going wrong given what people have told me and what the internet agrees with.

My wife's cataract surgery went wonderfully well. Today when they took off the eye patch she could see more clearly even with her old glasses which don't match the lens they put in. She wants me to go food shopping for her which I'll do because she can't bend over to pick up shopping bags etc but that's totally not an issue for me. So the eye doc and my wife both win.

True but I am going by what the doctor said, not the internet. The doctor said that these lenses would last till the day I died but I don't think they are. My vision, which was GREAT, is to the point now that I think it needs to be corrected again. And one eye is a lot worse than the other. Also, I have moved out of the state so I can't even go back to the original doctor!

The lenses are silicone or acrylic and shouldn't degrade. It may be something else so best check with an optician

Yes to checking but I'd see an ophthalmologist to diagnose what is going on because there are many conditions that can affect vision.
