I think the only person who understands ancient language has a bigger ego than trump
Something is bigger there. I think it is heavens, the bull. No, I was mistaken, Bull of Heaven. In any event, bull seems to be involved.

Yeah, they went up big time from taxes here...
My mother quit smoking years ago. While she was in a nursing home, I got a call from the staff asking me to stop by for a discussion. They were upset that my mother had started smoking again and worried that I would be too. I told them not to worry. Let her enjoy herself.

Then the next subject came up. They were going to need me to be her supplier, because she was smoking up everyone else's cigarettes. I had no idea what a carton cost, but I was getting the cheap ones and it was close to $50 a carton. I bought them for her. She was my mother and let her enjoy the pleasure of them. It wasn't like there was reason to worry at that point. But good grief, I had no idea of the cost.

I hope when I'm old my kids do that for me(or the equivalent; I've never been a smoker).

At that point in a person's life worrying about the long term health risks weighed against the value of enjoyment seems to me to be a useless concern. She consented to do it and I couldn't see the harm in making life a little more pleasant for her. Plus she got to do something she loved dearly and that was conversation and socializing. It was a win/win for her I thought.
