I never leave home without my sword...You could get one of those canes that has a sword in it. This could be the start of a new career. No one expects a woman that just fell on the floor to suddenly leap up, sword in hand and demand that everyone stand and deliver. You could be a global social influencer. With a sword.
That's very true. My mom broke her hip and honestly, that was the beginning of her end. Please, try to do better......a broken hip greatly shortens life.
Because more broken hips follow the first.....broken bones after menopause indicate osteoporosis...I've never understood the correlation, but it is real.
Hmmmm!!!You could get one of those canes that has a sword in it. This could be the start of a new career. No one expects a woman that just fell on the floor to suddenly leap up, sword in hand and demand that everyone stand and deliver. You could be a global social influencer. With a sword.
Then the question becomes why. And of equal or perhaps greater importance, PT to strengthen balance. It helped me.No one told me that when you turn 60, you start to lose your balance. This is why when you go to the doctor, he or she asks if you've fallen this past year. OK, yes, several times.
That sucks. My wife broke her hip, got it repaired, started taking drugs for osteoporosis and is doing well.It was all downhill for Grandma once she broke her hip.
She's still with us, but its been nothing but decline...
I'm glad she is!That sucks. My wife broke her hip, got it repaired, started taking drugs for osteoporosis and is doing well.
Gravity is derived from grave. So, as the song goes "always look on the bright side of life"I'm sick of it all...
Forget gravity. I'm going home, where there is no gravity!
I think the major part of Grandma's issue is she refused PT. She hated it, wouldn't do it. She declined. Lost mobility. Got depressed. The lost mobility accelerated some dementia type problems. She became impossible to transport to social events. More depression...
Sounds like he knew what he was doing. With one of my wife's problems, we had a PT coming to the house. He saw her instruments and told her he wanted to hear her play the next time he came. She started practicing, started feeling better, practiced some more, felt better, started picking more things she enjoys doing - in other words a positive feedback loop instead of a negative one.
My replacement drug for Thyroid hormone gave me osteoporosis. I broke a vertebra and have been on bone-replacement drugs.I'm glad she is!

Just a downward spiral.
He was a great psychologist whether or not he'd been trained in the field. He was also loved music!Sounds like he knew what he was doing.
BIDEN: " We are closer to a cease-fire more than ever"........... hope he's correct. He was a great psychologist whether or not he'd been trained in the field. He was also loved music!
Now that you mention it, I'll be back in a bit. Give or take.
