I'm not sure what you would call the phenomenon, but reading such accounts or seeing them in a movie sometimes resonates in my head and I have to force it out. I suppose it is just simply obsessing about something I find disturbing and don't want to think about. The mind is a funny thing at times. It seems like it can easily run programs counter to our own interests if we let it.
Well then, I'll pretend I didn't see it and keep on winning.
