Actually back then I was mostly watching fighter jets take off, and yellow lizards (Anolis carolinensis), on my yellow patio wall...oh and playing with my trucks and riding a tricycle.....

Late yesterday I realized that our ~20+ year old electronic air cleaner has stopped working. I expect to not win when I find out the cost to repair/replace it.

The landlords of the house next door are cutting down all the 'junk trees'. It's a mulberry, and are not well loved by sticks in the mud.

Is it a male or female mulberry?
The males are unattractive, but the females
drop very messy berries. I had one on
sitting on a property line, & couldn't remove
it. Every late summer, the grounds smelled
like brewery....not in a good way.

Winning by working on checklist. The HVAC repair company we used appears to be gone - full voicemail and dropped call. I found another with high marks for quality and low price. We'll see. On to the next checklist item

Winning by only spending about $120 today instead of over $500. The $120 bought me a tank of gas, two tubes of toothpaste, a razor, and I am pretty sure that's all.
