Young at heart! Still curious and amazed at things. Old, but not. Still able and interested in learning. Developing my ability to act outside my comfort zone. That I still have fresh ideas or can find new ways to apply the older ideas. That I can change the world, but that world may just be the subset that I occupy. That I can finally get better sleep. That all is not lost. Every day has the potential to be terrific or tragic and it is my responsibility and desire to face it as best I can. I'm all these things and more and nothing at all. I'm OK with that.

I passed through Infamy on the way to Notoriety. It's a much bigger venue.

I had a Sydney gum leaf katydid crawling over the bbq while I was cooking hamburgers yesterday afternoon. I kept knocking him off so he didn't go up in flames but he kept flying back. When I'd finished cooking and got the camera he was gone.

Ares farted, too.

He's been living off of chili.

We went out and bought more paint; its peeling off the walls.
It's a real news day isn't it.

Now, I have the bizarre idea of this happening simultaneously with millions of people all the time. I wonder if you can here it from the upper atmosphere? It could impact spy planes.

Of course. I believe that somehow they know. All these creatures and even some plants know.

It says here, due to Australian regulations, the Sydney gum leaf katydid is the most venomous katydid there is. It just has to be that way for balance and consistency.

Seriously though, it looks like an interesting and perhaps large katydid.
