Just some trivia:
It is a fact that the team had a disagreement during the mid 1940s, and that they appeared in a couple of films as solo performers. But they buried the hatchet, especially after Bud Abbott surprised Lou Costello with a special tribute to Costello's infant son. The two men embraced and Costello was moved to tears. When Abbott experienced his epileptic seizures, Costello did his best to help his partner. Away from work, they didn't socialize with each other too often. Why should they, given all the hours they shared on a film set?
