Students and fellow teachers at work have been sniffing, sneezing, and coughing, but so far I am not infected. I haven’t been wearing a mask, so I attribute my wellness to consuming Korean red ginseng every day. Today is day 33.
Well, why didn't you send me some? You just let me get sick? :(

Regarding my consumption of Korean red ginseng, I have the extract in vinyl sticks. I open a stick, pour the extract into an empty bottle, pour in some honey, fill the bottle with water, and then shake it until the contents are fully mixed. The top is nice and foamy.

Me four.

My mood is negatively affected when summer ends.

Soon or later, I will have to take warm or hot showers. I’ve been taking cold showers every day since June.
That was one of the first things I worked on when I started practicing non attachment... trying to stop mourning when summer ended.

I do better than I used to. I've downgraded to 'a bit bummed', but recognize the seasons are going to do what they're going to do so no sense getting bent out of shape...

I'm trying to let go of attachment to the weather patterns I knew, now.

This is good considering that we human beings can be obsessed with weather and make strong demands of it.

This is good. Like you, I just get a bit bummed when a season ends, or when it’s day after day of sunny weather.

We cannot control the weather, so yeah, why complain or even laud it?

I'm trying to let go of attachment to the weather patterns I knew, now.

Keep up the good work.

What are the weather patterns where you are in South Korea?

There are four distinct seasons. Spring is warm and a little rainy. Summer is hot and gets really humid. The summer highs are usually in the lower or mid-90s but sometimes in the upper 90s. The East Asian monsoon arrives on or just after the summer solstice. It is basically four to six weeks of mostly light rain. In autumn, the leaves change colors at this time. Winters can get very cold. There are days in a row when the high is either freezing or below freezing.

Sounds similar in temperature to here, though we get much colder.

We don't get near so much rain, though I'd like if we did.

These had large, white caps (6-8" across), sort of peaked, with a light tan/gray patch at the center of the cap that looked somewhat like a German iron cross. I took photos. I'm not planning on picking any so others can see it before some idiot knocks them over, but I would be interested to know what they are.

I've just been through my mushroom book, there's over 500 different ones listed in the book i can't find any ws described.

Was the stem thin, medium or thick compared to the cap?

Can you put up a pic of one please?
