It is really an amazing thing. However, to be honest, most Germans can't help but sound weird.

Did you know that the Klingon language was created with the German language as a guide.
It seems that native German speakers have no trouble mastering the speech pattern ;-) Qa-pla

It was on fire when I laid down on it.

I believe it. And many people make fun of their language but it was very easy for me to learn.

I'm trying to figure out how to prepare healthy food for just one person.

Sam has his one beer in the evening. To say he's a lightweight is an understatement. He turns into a 23 year old again(in his mind). "Yo, bro, you don't want to be cool and play some music, and do flips on the skateboard? The night is young! Let's PARTY!!!"

No. No, I don't want to. It's near midnight and I want to go to bed.

I'm 40. I don't want to be 27 again. I like being 40.
35 years ago, I was trying to get national ranking in beer drinking. Then, for some reason, I lost interest in volume and began to pursue quality instead. I'm not sure I achieved great heights as a connoisseur, but my tastes greatly improved and my intake dropped way off.

I just want to be healthy for my age or perhaps a bit better than that.

Preparing food for just one is always a problem to me. But it can be done. It helps to have a good grocery available. I did it by cutting up my own produce when I could and eating it up as needed, but when I couldn't do that, I could buy it already prepared for a bit more.

Feeling a bit better?

Eh, sort of. My cars done. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Still need to pick it up. Not clear on my driving right now. Going to wait and try tomorrow.

Happy about that. Head still hurts and I'm tired.

Could use a good beer, but I still think it would be wasted right. So I'll wait till I feel much better and can enjoy it fully.

It was inconsiderate of you to get sick, I'm missing my daily dose of rabbit humour.

It probably wouldn't help but are you willing to risk that small chance that it might help?
That's a WKRP in Cincinnati episode from the 70's. In an on air demo to show the negative effects of alcohol, Jonny Fever got faster and more accurate with each drink.

I always thought that show was hilarious. Probably don't know that in Australia.

It was shown here but was late at night so I was usually working and didn't see much of it.
