I have to revert to my youth and one word I learned: tsuris (trouble/aggravating difficulty). I went outside to turn off the water filling our small pool and found that there was a leak caused by a contractor employee manhandling the somewhat fragile pipe the hose was connected to and causing a leak with the ground being very wet.

I was actually shocked at getting an immediate reply from a higher-up that he was sending someone out tomorrow morning to take care of it. If the guy shows and fixes it, I'll think more kindly about that contractor especially.

I'm too old and experienced to believe that there are no troubles. But to have someone who (hopefully) fixes it quickly is something I don't expect.

We'll see.

It's morning, right enough. Good? We'll we're alive so that's good. Right now I'm waiting for the guy promised to come this morning to fix a leak contractors caused and to fix the cover to our pool because they lost the part for the cover. Our dog is REALLY disappointed because we're not on our walk.

Apparently my dog managed to eat most of a popsicle stick and throw up on my bed. I hope no splinters are weaving through the little guy.

Mine just threw up her normal dog food, and some cat hair.

On the stairs, too, which is preferable to fabric.

Dog walked, grocery shopping done but still need to do some mowing. Supposed to be our first hot day with a forecast of 36c (97f) so it will probably be a hide in the A/C day.
