A wind chill advisory remains in effect until 10:00 this morning as the National Weather Service says west winds around 10 miles an hour and temperatures near zero will result in wind chills of between 15 and 20 degrees below zero. Yesterday was a brutal day to be outside as winds gusting up to 48 miles an hour created white out conditions. Indiana State Police said the visibility at one point was zero north of U.S. 20 in LaGrange County. Wind chills between 25 and 30 below zero led a lot of people to just stay home and hunker down for the day. By the way, 39 more days until Spring.
It was rather cold last light loading trucks at dollar general. There was even 2 or 3 people that didn't show up last. I really can't blame them.

Done here.
My mother is 39. I don't call her old though.
My mother was a preemie, born at home and weighed three and a half pounds. My grandfather bought a coffin for her; she wasn't expected to live. She was a sickly child. Grandpa used to tell my aunt, "Don't hit little Katie; she's not going to be with us long." When she was twelve, they gave her her Christmas presents in October because they didn't think she'd live till Christmas. Her mother died at 50, and her mother died at 34. Mom used to pray that she'd live long enough to see her children grown. Now she's got grown grandchildren, she's outlived five brothers by decades, she's healthier than her sisters, and she's even healthier than most of us in my generation. She didn't see it coming. :D

Every five years my husband says he is going to die. He has been saying since before I knew (according to family members). He does get gloomy sometimes.
