Here is a list of songs:

Free Bird: Lynyrd Skynyrd
Night Shift: The Commodores
Empty Garden (Hey, Hey Johnny): Elton John
All Those Years Ago: George Harrison
Candle in the Wind: Elton John

Does anyone know what these totally different songs have in common?

I have never heard of them - that is what they have in common.

Since no one answered my question about those songs I listed, I will. They were all tribute songs for people who had died.
Night Shift- for Marvin Gaye and Jackie Wilson
Free Bird- For Duane Allman
Empty Garden- For John Lennon
All Those Years Ago- For John Lennon
Candle in the Wind- For Marilyn Monroe and Later For Princess Diana

I have Night Shift playing right now. It came out in 1984. I was about 18 years old then. I am an old fart now.

After all the school delays and closings I read this:

A wind chill advisory remains in effect until 10:00 this morning as the National Weather Service says west winds around 10 miles an hour and temperatures near zero will result in wind chills of between 15 and 20 degrees below zero. Yesterday was a brutal day to be outside as winds gusting up to 48 miles an hour created white out conditions. Indiana State Police said the visibility at one point was zero north of U.S. 20 in LaGrange County. Wind chills between 25 and 30 below zero led a lot of people to just stay home and hunker down for the day. By the way, 39 more days until Spring.

I hope the Amish and their horses are keeping warm, and I hope somebody's fixing barbecue at the Texas Roadhouse in Shipshewana. Got to have priorities.
