It seems your having a problem with what Jesus fulfilled.. The seventh day Sabbath was to lead Israel to Jesus Christ.. And then when Jesus Christ came..Jesus Christ fulfilled the seventh day Sabbath by keeping it himself. Which Jesus Christ brought the Seventh-Day Sabbath to it's end by for filling it himself. At his cross. Therefore we are not bound by those things that Jesus Christ brought to it's end at his cross in the old testament/scriptures. Maybe you should study what Jesus Christ fulfilled at his cross. As a Christian we rest in Jesus Christ.

These are your words which are not God's Word. JESUS fulfilled all righteousness and all things spoken of him in the law and the prophets *Luke 22:44; Matthew 3:15 and obeyed all of God's laws. He did not fulfill them in order for us to break them. God's Word does not teach lawlessness *Matthew 13:41-42.

According to God's Word in the new covenant (not mine) God's LAW (10 commandments) give us the knowledge of what sin is when it is broken *Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4 and just like everyone of God's 10 Commandments if we break any one of them we stand guilty before God of sin *James 2:10-11.

You are confused dear brother. JESUS came to save us from sin not for us to continue in sin *John 8:31-36. If you continue in sin you will die *Hebrews 10:26-27. According to God's Word all those who continue in known unrepentant sin when they have been given a knowledge of the truth will not enter into the Kingdom of Heavem because they reject the gift of God's dear son *John 6:23, and count the blood of the covenant an unholy thing Hebrews 10:26-39. They have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof *2 Timothy 3:5. All these will only find out too late what it is they have lost at the second coming *Matthew 7:22-27.

There is no scripture in all of God's Word that says JESUS is a Sabbath. According to God's WORD the Sabbath is defined as the "seventh day" of the week that has it's origin in creation "before sin", "before Israel", "before Jews". "before Moses" and even "before God's plan of salvation" was given to mankind. JESUS says that the Sabbath was made for mankind *Mark 2:27. Therefore if the Sabbath was made for mankind before sin when mad was in perfect harmony with God and was already walking with God and in perfect harmony with God how can the Sabbath be a Shadow law? It cannot because it was a part of the finished work of creation and now after the fall (sin) it is one of God's eternal laws that give is the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD AND EVIL; SIN AND RIGHTEOUSNESS; *Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4 and if we break it just like anyone of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of sin *James 2:10-11.

My prayer is that you will receive this in the Spirit it was given (love) and that it may be a blessing to you.

God's Sheep hear his Voice (the Word of God) and follow him. Those who do not hear do not follow.

Once again you refuse to answer questions
Once again, you refuse to answer questions. I didn't ask you if Christ was tempted, I asked you about His nature. No matter.

Your question was indeed answered with scripture. Perhaps you did not like the answer that was given. I stated to you directly and provided God's Word that JESUS had the same nature as we do but did not sin and provided scripture stating if he did not he could not be tempted in all points as we are yet without sin.

Here are some clear points that summarize the facts of why the sabbath is no longer binding on Christians. We believe the Old Testament regulations governing Sabbath observances are ceremonial, not moral, aspects of the law. As such, they are no longer in force, but have passed away along with the sacrificial system, the Levitical priesthood, and all other aspects of Moses' law that prefigured Christ. Here are the reasons we hold this view.

Well there you go something we can agree on.

Now reading your post your premise for your whole post is that God's Sabbath is a ceremonial Shadow law that pointed to JESUS and is fulfilled in JESUS right? I want to deal directly with your premise brother because by if you are able to be shown directly through scripture why your premise is in error so is your interpretation of everything else you have provided.

So let's start.....

God's 4th commandment is not a ceremonial law it is a moral law of our duty of love to God a memorial of creation and God as the creator of all things in Heaven and Earth. Ceremonial laws in regards to sin offering, the Sanctuary service and Levitical Priesthood for remission of sin are all prophetic in nature given "AFTER THE FALL OF MANKIND (sin) which pointed to JESUS as the Messiah and the Saviour of man kind from sin and his role in God's plan of salvation from sin for mankind in the new covenant. So all these laws are provided AFTER THE FALL and when mankind sinned against God; Do you agree?

According to JESUS the Sabbath was made for mankind *MARK 2:27 and has it's origin in creation where God rested on the "seventh day" of the creation week and set apart the "seventh day" of the week from all the other days of the week, blessed the "seventh day" of the week and made the "seventh day" of the week a "holy day of rest for mankind" *GENESIS 2:1-3.

Now pay attention brother and hear the point and think it through....

* The origin of the Sabbath is in the seventh day of the creation week.
* The Sabbath is a part of the "finished work" of creation that God made holy for mankind.
* There was NO SIN when God made the Sabbath for all mankind and man was in perfect harmony with God.
* There was no plan of salvation given to mankind because there was no sin
* There was no ceremonial law because there was no sin and no knowledge of sin

Now think it through.....

Now brother your premise for your whole post is that God's Sabbath is a ceremonial Shadow law that pointed to JESUS and is fulfilled in JESUS so if this premise is true please tell me...

Q. How can the SABBATH be a CEREMONIAL LAW when there was NO SIN and NO LAW when the sabbath was made for all mankind?

Now this is where the rest of your post falls down. None of the scriptures you have provided in the rest of your post says Gods' 4th commandment has now been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day therefore none of them are relevant to the conversation. If you disagree than let me know and we can go through each one and see why what is being shared with you is true from the Word of God.

May you receive this post iand scriptures provided in the Spirit it was given brother (love)

May you also receive God's Word and be blessed.

According to God's Word, JESUS says that it is only those hypocrits that teach and follow man-made teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God that are siding with the Pharisees.

Dictionary definition of hypocrite
1 : a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion
2 : a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings
Definition of HYPOCRITE

Christ definition of hypocrite

Luke 12:1 New International Version (NIV)
Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

FrayedDefenselessGrouper-size_restricted.gif

Imitating and accepting the teachings of the Pharisees is the yeast of hypocrisy
The Pharisees love checking Jesus on the Sabbath
The Sabbath is their centerpiece of their doctrine
They refuse to accept that God already ENDED the Sabbath.
Looking and noting if he would heal or not

John 9:16 New International Version (NIV)
Some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, for he does not keep the Sabbath.”

Luke 6:2 New International Version (NIV)
Some of the Pharisees asked, “Why are you doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?”

The Bible says in regards God's Ten Commandments (Exodus 34:28, Deuteronomy 4:13, 10:4), that they are all (as they are a "whole"; Ecclesiastes 12:13-14) "spiritual":

Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Scripture vs "you":

Luk 23:50 And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:
Luk 23:51 (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.
Luk 23:52 This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.
Luk 23:53 And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.
Luk 23:54 And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.
Luk 23:55 And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.
Luk 23:56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.

Who wrote that? Luke. When? Years after the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus.

Was it them only? No.

Jesus referring to the future, and all His followers (Jews/Gentiles), long after His death, burial, resurrection and ascension:

Mat_24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Still keeping the Lord's day, the 7th day, the holy sabbath of the LORD:

Act_13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.
Act_13:44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Yeah,So.. Israel was still under the law to keep the seventh day Sabbath..before Jesus Christ was crucified..So what's your point.

Now after the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ...now we rest in Jesus Christ and not on the seventh day Sabbath or Sunday or any other day of the week.

So the question is..can you give the book and chapter and verses from the book of Acts to the book of Revelation of the New Testament/Scriptures..As to where it's written to keep the seventh day Sabbath..

Why is that..that there is no where written from the book of Acts to the book of Revelation about keeping the Seventh day Sabbath.

The books of Matthew, Mark. Luke and John.
This was before the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Now after the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, from the book of Acts to the book of Revelation.. there is no where written to keep the seventh day Sabbath...Why is that??

I cited the texts which show the sabbath of the commandment being kept (by Jews/Gentiles) right after and long after the death (crucifixion) of Jesus. You simply chose to not see that part.

I already cited them, including Matthew, Mark and Luke.

Isa 56:1 Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
Isa 56:2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
Isa 56:3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
Isa 56:4 For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
Isa 56:5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
Isa 56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
Isa 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Isa 56:8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

That of Isaiah is the old testament/scriptures..Matthew..Mark..Luke and John people were still under the law to keep the seventh day Sabbath..

Now go from the Book of Acts to the book of Revelation and give the chapter and verses where the command is given to keep the seventh day Sabbath or Sunday..
There is no such command.

Have you not read that how in the book of Hebrews 7:12---"For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a changed also of the law"

Notice the ( law) being Plural..
Meaning, of a word or form, denoting more than one or more than two..

In this case the law being Plural. Meaning more than one law is being spoken about..

Therefore seeing there was necessity a change in the law.. there by the seventh day Sabbath was changed. That now we rest in Jesus Christ and not no longer keep any day of the week no more.
But rest in Jesus Christ.

Where as in the old testament/scriptures..the law was to keep the seventh day Sabbath.
But now that Jesus Christ has come and by his death and Resurrection,, we are longer bound by the law of keeping the Seventh day Sabbath.
The law being changed.so now we rest in Jesus Christ.

...Have you not read that how in the book of Hebrews 7:12---"For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a changed also of the law"...
The entire context of Hebrews 7 is the "law" of making men priests, not God's Law of Ten Commandments, which says nothing about 'priests', but you simply chose to not see that..

Heb 7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;

Heb 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

Heb 7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

Heb 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

The Ten Commandments were spoken and written by God before there ever was a Levitical Priesthood, but you simply chose to not see that.

Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

Heb 7:13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.

Heb 7:14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

Heb 7:15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,

Heb 7:16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

The Ten Commandment Law is entirely "spiritual" (Romans 7:14), but you simply chose to not see that.

Heb 7:17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Heb 7:18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

Heb 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Heb 7:20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:

Heb 7:21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)

Heb 7:23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:

Heb 7:24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

Heb 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Heb 7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

Heb 7:27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

Heb 7:28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
There is no place in the Ten Commandments which maketh men high priest, but you simply chose to not see that.

Well your sure not hearing God's Voice

Not really brother I have only shared with you God's Voice (the Word) but you choose to close your eyes and ears not to see and hear it in order to justify following man made teachings and traditions of men that have led many to break the commandments of God that JESUS warns us against doing *MATTHEW 15:1-9.

When Jesus Christ said "The Sabbath was made for man" Jesus at this time was in the speaking to Israel only..

I see, so in your view you do not believe that God's Word is written for God's people. Yet it is God's Word (not mine) that says; All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness *2 Timothy 3:16 and man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God *Matthew 4:4.

God's ISRAEL in the new covenant are all those who believe and follow God's Word *Ephesians 2:11-13; Galatians 3:28-29; Romans 9:6-8; Romans 2:28-29; Colossians 3:11; Romans 10:11-13. Gentile believers are now grafted in *Romans 11:13-27. If you are not as part of God's ISRAEL than you have no part in the new covenantn promise *Hebrews 8:10-12.

JESUS (God's Word) says

Mark 2:27 , And he said unto them, THE SABBATH WAS MADE FOR MAN, and not man for the Sabbath.

Mark 2:27 GNT TR - και ελεγεν αυτοις το σαββατον δια τον ανθρωπον εγενετο ουχ ο ανθρωπος δια το σαββατον

Literally, the sabbath [of the LORD [JEHOVAH], the 7th day, context] was made or created for the man

The only "the [definite article] man" [Hebrew: 'ha adam'] [singular] that was around when things were "made" [thus at Genesis], is "Adam" [and all humanity in him being mankind]. This agrees with Genesis 2:7, which speaks of "the Adam":

The Sabbath was made for WHO? The Sabbath was made for MAN (not JEW and not ISRAEL). So here we have the God of creation telling us why the 7th Day was made a Holy day. It was made for MANKIND

STRONGS Greek
MAN G444 ἄνθρωποςanthropos (an'-thrō-pos) n.
1. (literally) man†-visage (i.e. a man-faced being, a man who has visibly come of age).
2. (concretely, in Hebrew) a clay being (a classification of beings made in the image of God, who made them male and female). 3. (generically, in English) a human being. 4. (indefinitely) a certain man (i.e. someone). [from G435 and ops “the countenance” (from G3700)] KJV: certain, man Root(s): G435, G3700

Now brother these are Gods' Words not mine. I choose to believe them. How about you?

And at this time..When Jesus said"the Sabbath was for man"

You are confused here brother. No one is under the law if they have repented of their sin and been forgiven of their sins by having faith in the promises of Gods' Word. We are only under the Law if we stand guilty before God of breaking the Law *Romans 3:19-20. God's people in the old testament are saved in the same way that we are saved in the new testament and that is by believing and following Gods' Word (Faith) *HEBREWS 11. The only difference is the process. In the old covenant Gods' people looked forward by faith to the coming of the Messiah (JESUS) through the sin offerings, the earthly sanctuary services and the Levitical Priesthood in the Mosaic book of the law *Exodus 24:7 while God's people after the death and resurrection of JESUS look back in faith and accept JESUS as our sacrifice for our sins so that by his grace we are saved through faith in His Word.

...the Seventh day Sabbath no longer's stands...we now Rest in Jesus Christ and not on any day of the week no more.

According to God's Word in the new covenanant, everyone of God's 10 commandments give us the KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL; SIN AND RIGHTEOUSNESS *Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4 and if we break any one of them we stand guilty before God of sin *James 2:10-11.

According to God's WORD there is not one scripture that says God's 4th commandment has now been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day. This is a man made teaching and tradition that JESUS warns us about in Matthew 15:1-9. Now in times of ignornance God winks at but when he gives us a knowledge of what his truth is, he calls all men everywhere to believe and follow His Word *Acts 17:30-31. If we then sin willfully after God gives us a knowledge of the truth of his Word than there remains no more sacrifice for sin but a fearful looking forward to of the judgment to come *Hebrews 10:26-39.

May you receive God's Word and be blessed. Ignoring it does not make it disappear.

HEBREWS 4:9 [9] SO THEN IT REMAINS FOR THE PEOPLE OF GOD TO KEEP THE SABBATH

If we break any one of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of breaking them all..

JAMES 2:10-12 [10], For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. [11], For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if you commit no adultery, yet if you kill, you are become a transgressor of the law. [12], So speak you, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

REVELATION 14:12 [12], Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, and the faith of Jesus.

REVELATION 22:14 [14], Blessed are they that DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

1 JOHN 2:3-4 [3], And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. [4], He that said, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

You were saying?

Indeed as shown through the scriptures, hypocrisy of the Pharisees according to JESUS is following man made teachings and traditions that break the commandments of God. It is hypocrisy to think you are following God without doing what he says and not believing his Word. *Matthew 15:3-9.

IS IT WRONG TO EAT IN A JEWISH SABBATH?

Now I don't know what your official beliefs are but the 7th day Adventists are very transparent on this issue.
According to them, it is wrong to eat in a Sabbath day.

Now there is a case in the Bible about the apostles of Christ and this is what they did and what the Pharisees said about them.

Matthew 12:1-2 New International Version (NIV)
At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them. When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, “Look! Your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath.”

The Pharisees were fuming mad when they saw the apostles of Christ eating during the Sabbath.

Fast forward to our time - do Adventists view eating during the Sabbath wrong?

I'd rather quote from their official website:

Eating in restaurants on Sabbath
Author: Ángel Manuel Rodríguez
Some members in my church believe it is appropriate to eat at restaurants during the Sabbath. I'm not sure how to react. Is there any guidance from the Bible?

Apparently, if we bring the same situation in our modern contemporary setting - the apostles will be accused of breaking the sabbath. But the thing is there is no sabbath to speak of.

Sure JESUS gives us rest he was the one who made the Sabbath for all mankind *Mark 2:27. This rest is given only to those who believe and follow God's Word *Hebrews 3; Hebrews 4.

Why is it so hard for you to understand....

That Jesus Christ fulfilled the Sabbath day by keeping it himself...

Look Jesus Christ fulfilled the sacrificial lamb offering this is why we don't make Lamb offerings no more..

The same with the Seventh day Sabbath..Jesus Christ fulfilled the seventh day Sabbath..that now we no longer have to keep it either..

After the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ...There was a change in the law....that now we rest in Jesus Christ.
And on any day of the week no more.

A person does keep the whole law..when they rest in Jesus Christ...

The seventh day Sabbath..is no longer there..we rest in Jesus Christ now.

Your sure stuck on a day..and over look who you should really be resting in..Jesus Christ.
You would rather rest on day..Than rest in Jesus Christ.
So what your actually doing is picking a day over the Lord Jesus Christ.
Good luck on that one.

You want to keep a day..go ahead keep a day..but keeping a day will profit you nothing at all..only keeping a day and that's all.
So what your doing is, basing your salvation on a day and not the Lord Jesus Christ.
But why would you want to put your salvation on a day and not in the Lord Jesus Christ??

Who is taking the side of the accusation of the Pharisees who were negating God's commandment by their vain traditions according to the sinless Jesus? Who is taking the side of 'the accuser of the brethren'?

Let's look at Matthew 12 & Mark 2 & Luke 6

Priests cannot do anything they want. They cannot mow their grass on Sabbath [which has nothing to do with Temple service], but they could minister to the poor and sinner. They keep the Sabbath Holy, by doing the merciful [holy] work.

Jesus was not saying that the Priests were actually breaking God's Law. He was responding to pharisees about their misunderstanding of what it meant to break Sabbath. He was using their idea of 'violation', see verse 2.

Jesus said "guiltless", "... ye would not have condemned the guiltless." and that before he gave them their example [as he refers back to their original condemnation]. The pharisees had "condemned" based upon their tradition, not upon a Thus saith the LORD. Jesus then uses their definition of 'violation' and shows them from the scripture that their idea of violation is not actually transgression, thus absolutely innocent.

Christians are kings and priests, and thus they are to serve Christ Jesus continually, and to minister to the body of Christ Jesus, which is the temple of God on earth, and to shew mercy unto those without. To keep the common/profane labour to the days 1-6, and to keep the 7th day the Sabbath holy by doing no profane/common labour is obeying God and fulfilling the Sabbath of the LORD thy God. However, let us not forget that there is an endless holy work [John 5:17 KJB] that is never done and is in harmony with the Sabbath, and when such holy work is done, there is no violation of the Sabbath of the LORD, such are "guiltless". Honouring God in all things is the priority.

Mowing the grass on Sabbath is not holy work. It is profane/common work.

Helping someone who is sick by changing soiled sheets and cleaning the person on Sabbath is holy work. It is not profane/common work.

In obeying God in all His commands, there is no real violation, there are only the guiltless.

Neither Jesus, nor the disciples were actually transgressing God's Holy Law, but were only being accused by the Pharisees who were judging by their tradition.

Neither Jesus, nor the disciples were in any actual transgression or violation of God's law [Exodus 20:1-17 KJB], for there is nothing in the holy commandment [2 Peter 2:21KJB] of the 7th day the Sabbath of the LORD thy God [Exodus 20:8-11 KJB] which states that it is a violation of the commandment to [1] walk in nature through a field, etc, or [2] to take handfulls of "corn" in a neighbour's field, [3] to eat that which was taken by hand, when not actually 'reaping" ["working" in the common [profane] manner, such as is done in daily [1-6] labour].

Jesus never sinned [Hebrews 4:15 KJB, etc], not in this instance, nor at any time. Jesus also never states in either the entire context of Matthew 12:1-8, or Mark 2:23-28 KJB, that the disciples themselves were sinning, or violating in any way the 4th commandment, but Jesus instead said that the disciples were "guiltless" [Matthew 12:7 KJB].

[1] Jesus and the disciples were out in nature, walking through the "corn" fields of a neighbour [Matthew 12:1; Mark 2:23 KJB]

[2] the disciples were hungry, and decided to 'graze' along the way in the walking [Matthew 12:1; Mark 2:23 KJB]

If Jesus broke the commandment:

That would be sin (1 John 3:4), which is exactly what the devil attributes to Jesus, even God.

Mat 12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.

Mar 2:23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

Luk 6:1 And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.

This was within the Law of God, for provision was made for this very thing:

Deu 23:25 When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbour's standing corn.

Therefore, there is no violation on that sabbath day by either Jesus, or the disciples. At all. Period. It is without contestation. They were not reaping harvest, neither using a sickle (a work tool) to obtain the food required for sustaining life (which is in harmony with the Sabbath commandment, for example, see how many times Jesus healed upon the sabbath, to sustain and restore life), but merely gathered as much as needful with their own hands.

Now let us see who is the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:10) in this event, for the devil was among them, though unseen:

Mat 12:2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.

Mar 2:24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?

Luk 6:2 And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?

There were certain of the Pharisees which had been watching for anything that they might accuse Jesus of, and especially upon the sabbath, and since they could not find anything in His holiness, satan attempted to get to Jesus and accuse Him through the disciples.

The Pharisees had many man-made regulations (Matthew 15:3-9; Mark 7:6-13, even Paul warns of it, Colossians 2:8), that are not found sanctioned in the word of God, which contradicted the commandments of God. God's word in Deuteronomy 23:25 clearly gave the right unto the disciples to do what they did. This text, this law of God overrules (by order of the Throne of God) any man-made regulations such as the Pharisees had made. Even Jesus knew what the disciples were doing. If there were any sin (1 John 3:4) in it, Jesus Himself would have rebuked the disciples before all. Deuteronomy 23:25 is even valid on the seventh day the sabbath of the LORD thy God, since one word or law of God (such as the spiritual law of the Sabbath, Exodus 20:8-11; Romans 7:14) does not violate or contradict any another word or law of God (being a civil law or statute; John 10:35). That regulation was given by God through Moses, and since God is all-knowing, God even knew in the days of Moses that this regulation would be challenged in this very moment (Isaiah 46:9-10) in the days of Jesus.
