Son of his Father: The Heir and Prince
I think you are working in reverse. There are no verses that disagree with what I’m saying. It is only you that is saying that the verses disagree.Your response here...
Did you notice that all the scriptures in the post you are responding to disagree with every thing you have posted here Soapy? Just saying we are best to believe what the scriptures say rather than seeking to try and explain them away and argue with what God actually says. I hope only the best for you dear friend and pray you will receive Gods correction and be blessed. Ignoring Gods Words does not make them disappear.
Take Care.
And I notice that it is you who is not answering the exact questions I ask you. It’s quite simple to see whg - you cannot.
How can Jesus be God when the Father is God and there is only one God?
3rdAngel, there is no LEGITIMATE SCRIPTURE that claims Jesus is God. All the scriptures you posted are faulty in the least and creatively altered at the most.
For instance, Jesus is supposed to be the creator - but ‘Creator’ means ‘Father’.
Also, Jesus is the SON of God. ‘Son’ means ‘He who does what the Father commands him’.
Did God command Jesus to create all things… that’s what trinity John 1:1 would say: ‘The word created all things’… WHO’s WORD created all things…
Do you not see it?
If Jesus is THE WORD THAT CREATED ALL THINGS… then he cannot BE GOD since the COMMAND to create came from GOD…
And, Jesus INHERITS what is God’s in being MADE Heir TO GOD! If Jesus is God then how can he be the inheritor of what he is supposed to have created?
Also, a verse claims that Jesus created, then another says it was the Father that created THROUGH Jesus, and yet another says it was the Father that created all things…
Recall that ‘Father’ means:
- ‘He who creates…’
- ‘He who gives life…’
- ‘He who brings into being…’
- ‘He who is the head…’
3rdAngel, why is the first person, of your trinity three, entitled, ‘Father’?
3rdAngel, what does ‘Son’ mean in the term, ‘Son of God’ linked to ‘You are my son; this day I have become your Father’?
GOD adopts Jesus to be His Son because Jesus sinlessly, righteously and entirely fulfilled the commands of God:
- ‘If I am not doing the works of God then do not believe me’ (John 10:37)
