I would agree that us examining our beliefs is good, but I also think maybe this has shown that we don't necessarily need an overview anymore.
If we do have one though, the draft we are working on is far better IMO. I really, really think we just need that 4th point to clarify that it's very diverse, particularly if it's any metric that we want to use.
But I kind of ideologically have an aversion to that kind of metric. Someone's inclusion in this DIR should basically be if they sincerely identify as a Luciferian. It's pretty obvious when someone with no knowledge of the the Left Hand Path or other occult stuff posts in a place like here to troll or pretend or something to that extent. I guess that might be harder for the staff to sort out, and relying on a single token moderator or admin to know kind of leaves it totally in their hands to define it how they want. So if the staff wants one to go by I think we would want to know if that's the case.
But again I don't feel comfortable with the staff deciding who is and isn't sincere in their beliefs. As I said, it's pretty obvious when someone is just trolling but it's a lot more gray when someone is a 'heretic' so to speak (that is to say, idiosyncratic). I don't think we currently have any by how I would see it, but just out of principle you know? With that said though, I kind of feel that the three revised points we have now, when added with that 4th point, it would be *really* hard for even an idiosyncratic person to not qualify for most of those points.
