The Meaning Of Heaven

I would not worry too much about that since Jesus is not coming back to this world.

John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more.

John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Why can't people read and understand plain English? It's not that difficult.
No more means no further, never again.
Jesus was given authority in heaven and earth. He may not have left, he is here until the end of the age.

I believe that his body left this earth when he died on the cross and his soul ascended to heaven.
The spirit of Jesus is still among us here on earth.

The end of the age came in the mid 19th century, according to my beliefs.

All you need is love.
I believe that our souls leave this earth and go to a spiritual world.

I believe that this is true for some spirits, but not all. I also believe that spirits can travel between the spirit world and the physical world at will.

We cannot know much about the spiritual world since it has never been described in any scriptures.

None of my spirit guides or any human spirits whom I've conversed with have ever directly answered my questions about the spirit world, but I've gleaned enough tidbits of information to have a clear understanding of what can happen to people after death. I can say, however, that it isn't as the Bible claims.

The Spirit of Jesus is no doubt on earth.

No, it is not true for earthbound spirits.

Interesting.... I haven't had a visit from my late husband since January 20 of this year.
This is thus far the longest interval between visits so I wonder if he will ever come again.

“The nature of the soul after death can never be described, nor is it meet and permissible to reveal its whole character to the eyes of men.”
In Jewish teachings we have many descriptions of the Spiritual World, but all of them are descriptions in terms that we can comprehend. It is made abundantly clear that there is a limit to our ability to truly comprehend such things in their fulness.

I am not familiar with the Jewish teachings. Can you share some of the descriptions of the Spiritual World?

Yes, I know this all too well. And some of my encounters with them are more challenging than others.

Maybe he has crossed over, or he may be wandering. I still wish that I could have helped you communicate with him. I had hoped that if he was aware of our online interactions, he might have tried to reach out to me. The thought crossed my mind because this kind of situation has happened to me before.

His death is a wedding, your wedding when the man "stabs" the woman and blood and water flow. He sheds innocent blood. Everything is symbolic.

The wedding of Jesus is a reverse process, people "leave" the earth.
And again from the beginning, with a new heaven and a new earth!

The end of the age came in the mid 19th century, according to my beliefs.
Why are you still counting years then?
While you count years, he is with you, when you stop counting he is in you.

When you said "I also believe that spirits can travel between the spirit world and the physical world at will" I assumed you meant that these spirits have fully crossed over so they are not earthbound, as I believe his spirit has. He would not be earthbound as his greatest wish was to leave this earth!

His spirit may well be wandering in the spiritual world or he might be in a higher sphere now, so maybe that is why he might not have come back here again. I read that spirits in higher spheres are harder to reach so maybe it would also be harder for them to reach us. Of course this is all conjecture on my part. I also wonder if his visits were to get me to communicate with him and when I never did he might have finally given up.
I still wish that I could have helped you communicate with him.
I also wish you could have helped or that I could have found someone else to help, but I decided to wait and see what happens and maybe not try to communicate with him after all. I am still conflicted over that decision so I still might try.
I had hoped that if he was aware of our online interactions, he might have tried to reach out to me. The thought crossed my mind because this kind of situation has happened to me before.
I cannot see how he could be aware of our interactions unless I communicated that to him through a psychic medium.
What has happened before?

The Garden of Eden is described as bearing a resemblance to the world we live in, having its own trees, leaves, etc. Some stories indicate that special people can come to and fro between the Garden and this. One story tells of a man who collected the leaves of the Garden in his coat, but when he realized that taking these leaves out of the Garden would cost him his place in the World to Come when he died, he immediately dropped all the leaves. Still, the leaves left a very sweet fragrance on his coat which he was able to sell for a lot of money.

There are several levels of Hell that are described, so i wont mention everything. One level is described as a deep dark pit. Another is described as having scorpions and snakes which harm people here in this level. Some level are described as having fire, others snow and ice.

The Bible tells us that a new heaven and earth will come. That means we will live on a new earth and in a new heaven. When the Bible speaks of going to heaven after you die it’s not speaking of some ethereal/otherworldly realm. It’s speaking of a heaven that’s here. Heaven is just simply referring to the outer part of our universe that surrounds our earth.
I believe the term new heaven refers to the ‘heaven of Revelation’ because it is a prophecy about Christ’s return so I understand that to mean Jesus will bring a new revelation from God for today and the earth of men’s hearts will be changed as far as belief in the new revelation. Christ also goes on to say that He will be called by a ‘New Name’. I believe this all refers to Baha’u’llah Who’s Name means the Glory of God which figures in many last day prophecies.

“I am the resurrection and the life.” – John 11:25

Is this Baha’u’llah also the resurrection and life in your religion?

So do you believe that the spiritual world we go to after death will be like the earthly Garden of Eden was described?

I should have mentioned that there are two different Gardens that we learn about in Jewish teachings; one lower and one higher. According to this the lower one is literally in our world and the higher one is not. So the one i was describing is the lower one. I know very little about the higher one.

That being said, i do think that most of us end up in the lower one.

“I am the resurrection and the life.” – John 11:25
  • “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.” (John 5:24)
In Mark 13:32, Jesus had been teaching his disciples about his return and says, “But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Luke records it this way, “You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” (Lk 12:40).
Ok, thanks and sorry, I don't think that necessary means heaven is just simply referring to the outer part of our physical universe.
