hooray, obama. Say does anyone know where I can get up to date info on the results for state elections on the various propositions and what not. I did a google search but the sights I found that were promising wouldn't load. But then Maybe they were taken down temporarily to update.

For this country to come from where it was in the early 60's to the point that we can vote for a black man, much less elect him - well - it speaks volumes of how far we've come.

Make no mistake, there is still a long way to go - but when you look back over the last 50 years - it is just unbelievable.

I love this country.

It's surreal. And I am so excited for children like my little niece and nephew, born from a mixed marriage. The first president they will ever see on TV will look like them. To those children, and African American children all over the nation - they won't understand the historical significance. It will just be normal. Think of how this may affect their sense of self-worth and potential. It's so wonderful.

Is that avatar from Warhammer 40k Zephyr?
Yup, my avatar is the symbol of the Adeptus Mechanicus, which is also my current religion field, my title references that too, and my signature is the Catechism of the Engineseer.

Sometimes you just have to Warham out.

A happy Aussie here. One of the best speeches I've ever heard. Let's just hope it isn't all just talk.
