The power of a clique

Every human is alone.

You get born as one self you die as one self.

When you honour one yourself then group bullying liars get what they never wanted. One in self destruction.

As group bullying mentality as lots of one selves lie. They lie to continually force their need for you to support them becoming powerful.

So one self bullied always has the last laugh as I was taught by my holy mother to never lie.

People are loyal to their clique. Even if they disagree, they will still support their clique.

The question is...........Why is That?

They know they won't fit in anywhere else even if they disagree with their clique.

The question is...........Why is That?

That is because we (at least most of us) are tribal in nature. Disagreement is to be resolved within the tribe or tolerated. But attacks from the "outside" closes the ranks.
I have been critiqued by friends, family and colleagues/bosses for being not loyal enough when I pointed out their errors before "outsiders". I will defend my tribe from unjust attacks but when it comes to truth or loyalty, truth usually wins.

You can't live alone. You don't have the necessary skill nor mental make up for hermit life especially not as a pariah. Living in society implies supporting and tolerating a bunch of things you don't agree with.

Living History is my hobby and I have the skills to do anything required for survival. That doesn't mean I can do everything. Doing everything by myself would simply take more time than there is in a day. Division of labour and use of external power is required for a life beyond Stone Age comfort.
But that is just the mechanical side of life. For most people isolation from other people is psychologically not bearable. Some can substitute animal friends for humans, some can go for month or years without contact but eventually it will take a toll on their sanity.

Power in numbers.
Corruption in power.
Numbers can sometimes normalise and legitimise something that is wrong.
Wrong? What's that? There is no such thing. Right and wrong are established by humans and societies as what suites them.
Sorry, just a small stream of thought. I like it when it comes even if these days it can be hindered by not being able to remember the right word to use.
When the world establishes what is right and wrong for the world and the world becomes the tribe, where will all the smaller tribes hide so they can do their own thing?
Will be have peace or war with mass tribalisation of the world?

I'll answer the last bit first - why is that. Well mostly it is probably down to laziness and the option not to do any thinking for oneself so as to rely on others all too often, and also the natural tendency to avoid doing any work. Belonging to any group, that tends to think like oneself or behaves like oneself, or promotes aims congruent with oneself is quite natural it seems, given the preponderance of grouping over time. Most of us are not necessarily averse to seeing ourselves in some groups - opposing dictators, calling out any blustering liars (Mr.T), or others who seem to have their own interests at heart or those of some select few - but we might not then automatically be aligned with some, particularly when we see them, or the group, as being against some other values we might hold. I think that is the mark of an independent rational mind, even if such is difficult to maintain in a world where we inevitably have to base our decisions on our limited abilities and/or knowledge, but at least we might know such.
