Shameless is a pretty good show, even if it did remind me too much of my dad's family at first. But then I eventually realized Frank and Carl (and Monica and Peggy) are the ones like my dad's family. Fiona, Lip, and Ian are cool. Debs I feel sorry for because she is so young but so old.

Sometimes one must stop & smell the hikers.
(To decide which is tastiest.) Then, you'll return.

Besides, you wouldn't want to admit that you're emotionally fragile
compared to me, & must find a safe space elsewhere, would you?
No one sees me fleeing the tedium & abuse of RF!
You're a bear, dammit....not a frightened little bunny.

Don't let the needs of the weak limit your freedom!
If you don't eat them, I'll just crush them.

1 So you call the help desk to get a problem fixed, that you can't fix, because they took your rights away
2 So they look for the nearest IT person and assign it to that person...who just happens to be you.
3 You contact them and ask them to close the incident because you can't do anything about it
4 They contact you telling you that you have to close it because it is assigned to you
5 You inform them that the problem is not resolved and it cannot be because you don't have the rights to fix the issue and you don't even have the rights to close it
6 They respond and basically say, ok we understand we will reassign it
7 return to step 2 repeat ad nauseum

Just picked up a steam powered horn from a 1972 supertanker.
It's big, & weighs around 500#. I'm delivering it to the Coolspring
Power Museum for the donor. It's really loud. Really really loud.

Well, when you get there don't forget to honk the horn so they know you're there

I watched Dr. Strange today. For a comic book movie, I kind of liked this one, and the special effects were amazing. But it seems odd to put them in the regular Marvel universe, because what challenge could any of the other Marvel heroes hope or dream of in a fight against Dr. Strange?

When I first read that line, my mind (sharp as a tack as it is) managed to read "Dr. Strangelove" and I couldn't figure out how it was a comic book movie...
