It appears that you might be very good at this line of work.

I hope, because just about every day I question and doubt my choice of career path. And then I remind myself of the colossal **** ups who were my own clinicians when I was a client at that counseling center, and not once have the Aspie clients I've met made me think they are psychotic.

And for some reason, the case manager I was with she's very soft spoken and rather monotone, I thought it was funny when she was complaining about the layout of this apartment complex and the lack of numbers on doors by giving a softly fierce "they need to get this **** labeled so people know where they are."

I had a lawyer we were using tell me that a trust we had set up using Nolo Press forms for my father-in-law was invalid and me telling him that if he could not take our side, we'd find another lawyer.

I had a CPA who we had used suddenly jack up his prices notably the year I retired without so much as a peep. Yes I should have known better and asked what his fee was that year, but I had a certain level of trust based on history. I was very wrong.

I'll leave it to you to decide if these were 'attacks' using whatever definition you like. These two incidents made me seriously less trusting of those professions.

And, following @Wu Wei we did have a good female CPA before she retired. My experience with male and female professionals have made me much more likely to trust women.

Poverty was the gas stations, inventory, warehouses, and fast food. But now I'm making about 2 to 4 times more than I've made at any other job. I may just barely be above the federal poverty line, but the cost of living here is so low that this position, a position with a reputation for not paying much, relatively pays a decent chunk of money, especially for an entry level position. And I don't hate my job, which is a mega-huge plus, it has good benefits, and it will help me pay for school.

Raised prices aren't an attack.
It's peanuts, & you can always find a different CPA.
But being on the receiving end of a bogus lawsuit is far far worse.

Why would they put icing on a plane anyway?

I have wondered the same thing myself..... a couple of weeks ago Mrs. Wu went to China and they delayed her flight...with all the passengers on it...for 3 hours because he de-icing machine broke and they had to fix it and de-ice the plane before take off..... I suspect what was really going on was they spent the 3 hours re-icing the plane to justify the expense of the de-icing equipment
