In my world, the creation of Heavy Metal is a glorious thing. It gives reason to wear spikes and skulls, black and more black, quasi-devil worship, pounding bass, thundering drums, and lots of a brainiac/nerdy/geeky lyrics of poetry, history, myth, and lore.
Well, just avoid too much cadmium in your diet.

I'm not too fond of painting, so my exposure to things such as cadmium yellow is ultra-minimal.
Avoid yellow snow too.

I'm not happy with my dad right now for having volunteered me to help his young whatever he is to him with his homework. I have a blood blister on my palm about half the size of a penny from picking at my skin from my social anxieties getting really high at work, and without even asking me he's signing me up to help someone else's kid, but with this being off the clock and nothing of any sort of compensation for how hard this really is for me. And maybe it's because I don't really have much of an emotional attachment to my dad, but unlike my mom I just can't work up the will to tolerate his family because it's his family. In my mind, it's his family. If my parents hadn't gotten back together, I probably would have taken my mom's family name for my own.
