I typically do E-standard, drop-D, or D-standard. I sometimes go D-drop C, but rarely and probably not with these strings. Open tuning is one I've never bothered to mess with.

Joni Mitchell used to talk a lot between songs in her concerts because she would re-tune for just about every number.

Squirrels are reputed to be tasty eating.
You seem to be making an observation based not in personal experience...what kind of dog are you that you haven't managed to catch a squirrel? Oh, yeah...that's most dogs never catch squirrels...have you ever caught a rabbit?

Methinks that "you are nothing but a hound dog; you ain't never caught a rabbit, and you ain't no friend of mine..."

This morning the conversation included when we lived back East and had to deal with long icicles hanging from the roof. They were not really good swords but they were better spears especially when chucked at someone.

I'm learning to read music. And it seems much easier to do with a keyboard than with a fretboard. For today, I'm learning to play songs from the Zelda series on my Bass Station, including the ocarina songs from Ocarina of Time. It's nice that this "Bass Station" can do pretty leads to do that.
Tomorrow, I'm going to learn to play song songs from Castlevania on it, with the goal still being forcing myself to learn to read music since "piano tabs" aren't a thing, unlike "guitar tabs" which have crippled my efforts to learn to read music.

My wife plays renaissance music on her orpharion. For fretted, stringed instruments, tablature is easier because rather than given a note, which finger is on which fret on what string is shown.

Of course it's more complicated than that since the German's had a different system from the French and so forth, but the basic idea worked well in that limited situation.

I don't feel so good today. It's been a day of IBS woes (most Saturdays are, anymore), leaving me lightheaded and dizzy. With that on top of the difficult-to-purge sinus/respiratory infection I've been dealing with. And here I was worried about my IBS-induced overactive bladder giving me grief at work. And while it has, the constant constipation from being so sedentary has been worse, and made worse by this damn sickness that leaves me too easily shortwinded for sufficient exercise.

I find it odd that Toxic Waste candy is made in Carmel, IN, which is like a 40 minute drive south from here, but yet it's so hard to find them in any stores that I purchased some on Amazon. And found that though the sour bite lasts longer than Warheads, Warheads definitely pack more of an intense punch than Toxic Waste.
I also realized my obsession with such candies is a sensation seeking behavior. The same goes for mouth-melting/face-scorching sauces and candies.
