With the way "retro" is a thing, it makes me wonder if people today would like the TV my family had when I was very young, which had four knobs, one to turn on the TV and adjust the volume, one to select UHF and a couple others, and one larger knob for lower range channels and another larger one for higher range channels, and it had no controller, and these two little screws you had to loosen in order to get an antenna attached to it. The next at least had buttons to push instead of knobs, but still no remote.My roommate and I are retro gaming some Diddy Kong Racing when he gets back

The TV I had in my apartment when I was in grad school had a remote that changed channels mechanically. It was useful when the monsters threatened to leave the TV set.
