My roommate and I are retro gaming some Diddy Kong Racing when he gets back
With the way "retro" is a thing, it makes me wonder if people today would like the TV my family had when I was very young, which had four knobs, one to turn on the TV and adjust the volume, one to select UHF and a couple others, and one larger knob for lower range channels and another larger one for higher range channels, and it had no controller, and these two little screws you had to loosen in order to get an antenna attached to it. The next at least had buttons to push instead of knobs, but still no remote.

I remember those. My gramps hooked my Super Nintendo to one when I was a kid, so I could play Earthbound. I remember how bad the picture was, ha ha ha.

The TV I had in my apartment when I was in grad school had a remote that changed channels mechanically. It was useful when the monsters threatened to leave the TV set. It was the 60's, after all.

So, DCS bio-mom is in rehab. My original plan for this week was finally hit rate, visit with my Bible-bashing client at 1, leave around 2, and head up North to LARP. But because bio-mom just had to go to rehab I won't hit rate. It's also taking a huge chunk of out my mileage pay.
I am still LARPing though.
